James Clinich I am a self taught photographer with a love of abandoned places (and things) and a passion for nighttime photography. I spend a great deal of time when I'm not out taking pictures seeking out new abandoned places to photograph. I take pride in being the first (and often possibly the only) person to capture many of these places. I consider myself to be somewhat of a pioneer (or maybe a trailblazer) and similar in some respects to Ansel Adams. A good friend once told me 'you can stand where Ansel stood and put your tripod where Ansel put his, and although you may capture an image much the same as Ansel's, it will never be an Ansel Adams print.'
