Artist's Description

This old farmhouse is visible from the road and I've driven by it many times. It is also quite isolated and cut off from all nearby roads with no access. I decided to park a little off the shoulder of the road (it was about 4:30 am, so not much traffic) and carefully hike between the freshly plowed rows (fortunately they were leading straight to the house) to get a better vantage point. It was a bit of a workout but well worth it.

About James Clinich

James Clinich

James Clinich is a self taught photographer with a love of abandoned places (and things) and a passion for nighttime photography. James spends a great deal of time when he's not out taking pictures seeking out new abandoned places to photograph. He takes pride in being the first (and often possibly the only) person to capture many of these places. A good friend once told him "you can stand where Ansel stood and put your tripod where Ansel put his, and although you may capture an image much the same as Ansel's, it will never be an Ansel Adams print." If you're looking for something truly unique, you've come to the right...
