Artist's Description

And the horse jumped over the house.... Seriously though, I found this gem in Western New Mexico and was the second stop of a two location night out in the late summer. I took this shot with a wide angle lens to capture as much of our galaxy as I could (in one image).

About James Clinich

James Clinich

James Clinich is a self taught photographer with a love of abandoned places (and things) and a passion for nighttime photography. James spends a great deal of time when he's not out taking pictures seeking out new abandoned places to photograph. He takes pride in being the first (and often possibly the only) person to capture many of these places. He considers himself to be somewhat of a pioneer (or maybe a trailblazer) and similar in some respects to Ansel Adams. A good friend once told him "you can stand where Ansel stood and put your tripod where Ansel put his, and although you may capture an image much the same as Ansel's, it will never be an Ansel Adams print." If you're looking for something truly unique, you've come to the right...
